Genmaicha with Matcha (Loose - 100 g)
This wonderful tea combines the natural flavour of sencha, the sweetness of matcha and the popcorn or nutty flavour and aroma of roasted rice in perfect balance. It has a beautiful green colour. Be sure to drink up the matcha sediment at the bottom of the cup.
Region: Hoshino Seicha-en, Fukuoka Prefecture
- Tea: 3 gm or 1 tbsp
- Water: 120-130 mL (1/2 cup) at 90-100 °C
- Steep: 30 sec.
To make cold brewed tea:
- Tea: 3-4 tbsp (10-15 gm)
- Water: 1000 mL (4 cups) at room temperature
- Steep: 2-3 hrs. to over night in the fridge
