Super Premium Houjicha (Loose - 100 g)
This delicately roasted houjicha is made from the best quality sencha stems. It offers an elegant mild roasted aroma and a rich natural sweet-sour flavour. A beautiful whisky color.
Region: Hoshino Seicha-en, Fukuoka Prefecture
- Tea: 3 gm or 1 tbsp
- Water: 120-130 mL (1/2 cup) at 90-100 °C
- Steep: 30 sec.
To make cold brewed tea:
- Tea: 3-4 tbsp (10-15 gm)
- Water: 1000 mL (4 cups) at room temperature
- Steep: 2-3 hrs. to over night in the fridge
