This genmaicha is mixed with 1st flush sencha and kabusecha stems from Uji and Hokkaido brown rice. It has a light yellowish green color with a nutty toasted flavour.
Region: Rishou-en, Kyoto Prefecture
Tea: 10 gm or 2 tbsp
Water: 300 mL at 95-100 °C
Steep: 30 sec.
To make cold brewed tea:
Tea: 15 gm or 3 tbsp
Water: 1000 mL (4 cups) at room temperature
Steep: 2-3 hrs. to over night in the fridge
