Uji Matcha -Matsuju (Powder - 30g)
This premium matcha is made from hand picked tea leaves grown in shaded tea fields. It is the third highest grade from Yoshida Meich-en that meets the high standards of Japanese tea ceremony masters. Two tea cultivars: Samidori and Ujihikari, are used for this fine matcha a specialty of the Uji region. Rich, creamy, full-bodied taste with a savoury umami flavour and a note of roasted sweet peas.
Cultivar: Samidori and Ujihikari (blend)
Region: Yoshida Meicha-en, Kyoto Prefecture
Tea: 2 gm or 1 tsp
Water: 60-70 mL (1/4 cup) at 80-85 °C
Steep: Whisk in hot water to a froth or use a bottle with the lid and shake it
