Yame Matcha - Seiho (Powder - 20 g)
The second highest grade from Hoshino Seicha-en in the Yame region. A grade lower than the Premium Matcha, this is still a fine matcha tea that meets the requirements of the Japanese tea ceremony. It is made from hand picked, first flush tencha stone ground into a fine powder. Still a rich, creamy tea with a bright green color and natural sweetness, but with a slight bitterness.
Cultivar: Okumidori, Saemidori, Yabukita, Tsuyuhikari, Samidori (blend)
Region: Hoshino Seicha-en, Fukuoka Prefecture
- Tea: 2 gm or 1 tsp
- Water: 60-70 mL (1/4 cup) at 80 °C
- Steep: Whisk in hot water to a froth or use a bottle with the lid and shake it
